Migrate WHD license from an old server to a new one

Overview

This article describes how to migrate Web Help Desk license from an old server to a new one.

Environment

  • All Web Help Desk versions

Steps

  1. Log in to the Web Help Desk Admin Console of your old server.
  2. Go to Setup.
  3. Under General, go to License.
  4. Click the Lock button.
  5. Click Deactivate button.
  6. Once deactivation is successful, log into the Web Help Desk Admin Console of the new server.
  7. Retrieve your License from Customer Portal and Activate your license.
