Import notes from tickets in WHD

Overview

This article explains how you can import notes from tickets in Web Help Desk. 

Environment

  • All versions of WHD

Steps

  1. Download the TSV of the ticket with the notes you want.
  2. Open this file up with Excel and then go to the notes column.
  3. Select the box with the note in it and just copy it.
  4. Open your import template and paste the note into the same column from the TSV file for the ticket.
  5. Once you have done this it will take all the information including the <note> tag information and will import everything from your notes into the new ticket.
