How to configure the email connection timeout setting

This article describes how to configure the number of seconds to wait before timing out an outgoing or incoming email account connection in Web Help Desk.


  • All Web Help Desk versions


  1. Log into Web Help Desk Administrator Console.
  2. Go to Setup > E-Mail > Options.
  3. Under E-Mail Options in the Connection Timeout field, enter the number of seconds Web Help Desk should wait before timing out of an incoming or outgoing email account connection.
  4. Click Save
