Failed SolarWinds Integration connection between the WHD VM and the Orion server

Overview

Failed SolarWinds Integration connection between the Web Help Desk Virtual Appliance (VM) and the Orion server. 

Environment

All WHD versions

Cause

DNS is enabled in the VM, causing the IP address to change and break the connection.  

Resolution

When you deploy Web Help Desk in a VM, configure the VM with a static IP address so you have a dedicated connection to the Orion server.
