Error "Host name does not match the certificate subject provided by the peer" after upgrading WHD

Overview

After upgrading WHD, e-mail tickets are not processing anymore.

Incoming Mail Accounts is getting an error:

Host name <mail server hostname> does not match the certificate subject provided by the peer (CN=exampledomain.com, OU= IT, etc..)

 

Environment

  • Web Help Desk 12.5.1

Detail

Resolution:

 

1. Go to Setup > E-mail > Incoming Mail Accounts. Change the Incoming Mail Server to the correct hostname/CN (exampledomain.com).

2. Restart WHD.
