Disable an outdated survey in Web Help Desk

Issue

Web Help Desk sends an outdated survey for a request type after the ticket is closed. This issue may occur when a tech or admin creates and then deletes a test survey, but does not remove the survey from the request type. 

Environment

Web Help Desk, all versions

Resolution

Disable the survey for the selected request type. 

  1. Log in to Web Help Desk.
  2. Go to Setup > Tickets > Request Types
  3. Click a request type in the Request Types column. 
  4. Click the Survey drop-down menu and select None.
  5. Click Save.
    The survey is disabled for the request type.
