WebinarUpcoming Webinar: Know What’s Changed – with NEW Server Configuration Monitor

Change management in IT is critical. But, even with a good change management process, changes are too often not correctly tracked, if at all. The configuration of your servers and applications is a key factor in their performance, availability, and security. Many incidents can be tracked back to an authorized (and sometimes unauthorized) configuration change, whether to a system file, configuration file, or Windows® Registry entry. Join SolarWinds VP of product management Brandon Shopp to discover how the new SolarWinds® Server Configuration Monitor is designed to help you.

Delay in processing incoming and outgoing emails

Overview

Incoming and outgoing emails require an extended amount time for Web Help Desk to process.

Environment

All WHD versions

Cause

Problematic Receive connector in the Microsoft® Exchange® SMTP server assigned to Web Help Desk.

Resolution

Create a new Web Help Desk Receive connector in your Exchange server.

You can create a Receive connector in the web-based Exchange Administration Center (in Exchange Server 2013) or in the Exchange Management Shell. During the configuration procedure, set your connector to receive unlimited or multiple connections.

See the Microsoft Technet website or your Exchange Server documentation for more information about creating a Receive connector.
