Dashboard widgets display an error after upgrading to WHD 12.6

Updated January 21, 2019

After you upgrade to Web Help Desk 12.6 with a Microsoft SQL Server database, the Dashboard widgets require an extended amount of time to load and display the following error:

Error: Web Help Desk could not process your query in a timely manner.

This issue does not occur with deployments running a MySQL database.

  • Web Help Desk 12.6
  • Microsoft SQL Server

Download Web Help Desk 12.6 Hot Fix 1 from the Customer Portal and install it on your Web Help Desk server.
