How to disable ticket asset requirements for a request type

  1. Log in to Web Help Desk as an administrator.
  2. Click Setup > Tickets > Request Types
  3. In the Request Type column, click a request type (for example, Email/Outlook) that no longer requires an asset when you create a ticket. 
  4. In the request type screen, ensure that the Use Models checkbox is not selected.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Repeat step 3 through step 5 for any remaining request types that no long require an asset or model when creating a ticket.
