FAQ updates do not display in the client interface

 

Overview

When you log in to Web Help Desk as a Tech Admin and change the categories assigned to an FAQ while clients are logged in, the changes do not display in the Client user interface.

Environment

  • Web Help Desk 12.4 and later

Cause 

Caching issue. 

Resolution

  1. Log out of the Client interface.
  2. Log back in to the Client interface.
  3. Verify that the changes appear in the Category drop-down menu and the FAQ list.
