Error when exporting a report to a PDF

Issue

When you export a report to a PDF, the following error message displays:

No font name ArialUnicodeMS

Environment

  • Web Help Desk all versions
  • Server running macOS

Resolution

Change the temp folder permissions for the _appserver user. 

  1. Log in to the Web Help Desk server.
  2. Open a text editor.
  3. Copy the script listed below to a text file.
  4. Rename the file to:
    fix_appserver.sh
  5. Run the file on your server.
  6. Restart Web Help Desk.

Copy the following script to a text file.
