The following error displays when logging in to Web Help Desk:

EvaluateExpression failed: Next Exception:SQL State:22021 -- Error code: 0 


All OS Platform and WHD wersion using AD/LDAP Synchronization


Recent changes in AD/LDAP organizational units break the current Web Help Desk synchronization settings.


  1. Log in to Web Help Desk as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Web Help Desk Database.
  3. Execute the following SQL statement:


    SET PASSWORD='yourTemporaryPasswordHereInsideQuote'




    WHERE USER NAME='yourAdminUserNameHereInsideQuote'

  4. Click Setup > Clients > AD / LDAP Connections > [yourConnectionName].
  5. Expand Advanced.
  6. In the Users DN field, make the necessary changes.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Verify that other users can now log in to Web Help Desk.
  9. Enable back LDAP Authentication into the account used at the following location:
    Setup > Techs > Techs > [theAdminAccountUsed] > Edit > Enable \LDAP Authentication.
