Dashboard reports do not match search results for the same item

Overview

A report in the dashboard shows fewer items than the search results displayed for the same type of items.

Environment

All WHD versions

Cause 

The dashboard has a set time limit for the data included in a report.

Resolution

  1. Log in to Web Help Desk as an administrator.
  2. Click Setup > General > Options.
  3. Click the Max Weeks of Data in Dashboard drop-down menu and adjust the time limit.
  4. Click Save.
