DameWare link does not display next to an asset number

Overview

The DameWare button does not display next to an asset number when trying to launch DameWare from an asset.

Resolution

  1. Log in to Web Help Desk as an administrator. 
  2. Click Setup > Assets > Options and verify if the DameWare Integration Links Enabled check box is selected.
  3. Click Assets > [Search for the Asset] > Asset Details tab
  4. Verify that the asset has an IP address or network name in Asset Details.
