Adding a storage location for spare parts

Overview:

Before you add parts to a location in Web Help Desk, set up a storage location to store the parts. 

Resolution:

  1. Log in to Web Help Desk.
  2. Click Setup and select Companies & Locations > Location & Rooms.
  3. In the Location Name column, click the location to store the parts.
    For example, Austin.  
  4. In the Location Info tab, click  to enter edit mode.
  5. In the Store Parts field, select Yes. 
  6. Click Save.
    The storage location is configured to store the parts.
