Unable to update Operation information in VNQM

This article addresses the issue where updated Operation information is reverted to the previous value after editing and modifying.


VNQM 4.1


SNMP Read/Write community strings are required for VNQM to update Operation information within the application itself.


  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.

  2. Go to Settings > Manage Nodes.

  3. Select the affected Nodes.

  4. Click Edit Properties.

  5. Enter Read/Write Community String: and leave Community String: blank.

  6. Test and verify that it works.

  7. Make the changes to the Operations.
