Overview

This page provides basic information about SIP trunking and support of SIP Trunk Utilization for VNQM. VNQM is currently not able to monitor SIP Trunk Utilization on Cisco VoIP Gateway.

SIP trunking is a VoIP and streaming media service based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Service providers use SIP to deliver telephone services and unified communications to users equipped with SIP-based Unified Communications software applications, such as voice, video, desktop sharing, web conferencing, and shared whiteboard.
