Supported devices in VNQM 4.2

Overview

This article provides brief information on VNQM 4.2 supported devices.

Detail

VNQM 4.2 supports the following Avaya Communication and Media Server series:

  • S87xx
  • S88xx
  • S83xx

VNQM supports Avaya Aura version 6.x.

VNQM supports the following Cisco devices:

  • Cisco CallManagers from version 6 up to version 10
  • Devices with IOS version 12.x to 15.x

VNQM does not support devices with IOS version 15.x and later.

Notes

  • Avaya Communication Manager can be hosted on a VM appliance. The main concern is that most often phones connected to Avaya Communication Manager are Agents, and in that case VNQM cannot map RTCP data (quality metrics, such as jitter or packet loss) to call records. Therefore, VNQM grabs call records, but not quality data for those calls.
  • For devices with IOS 15.x, you cannot create path operations directly in VNQM. You have to configure them directly on your devices and then add existing operations to VNQM. For more information about adding operations configured on your devices, see  Adding Existing Operations to VNQM.
  • Cisco ASR 9000 series routers with the firmware 4.3.2-IOS XR are currently not supported for IPSLA operations. VNQM cannot set up operations or poll operations on this device type.
  • VNQM does not support Nexus devices.
