Voip Search is missing call records if time period searched has over 10000 records

Updated July 4, 2018

Overview

This issue pertains to a problem that occurs specifically when you attempt to list call records through Voip Search and the number of calls found equals or exceeds 10000 records. In such an event, you would see calls listed out of dated order and calls will be missing for the time period searched.

Environment

  • VNQM 4.1 and later

Cause

This is a known bug within the query content of the search at a specific call record count (10000+). In such an event, the ORDER BY clause in the query is absent, resulting in the TOP 10000+ records being displayed and not the defined search and order.

Resolution

Currently this issue is being corrected by our development, but you can work around the issue by narrowing the search criteria used for the calls, resulting in less than 10000 calls returned. This will place the correct query criteria within the results and show you what you need.
