VNQM SLX license error: License Limited Exceeded on Unlimited License

Overview

This article provides brief information and a hotfix to resolve the following error on VNQM SLX license in VNQM version 4.2.2 or 4.2.3:

License Limited Exceeded 

Environment

VNQM version 4.2.3

Cause 

The issue is caused by the following files which are in the C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\VoIP Monitor\ folder: 

 

  • SolarWinds.Orion.IpSla.Collector.dll
  • SolarWinds.Orion.IpSla.Common.dll
  • SolarWinds.Orion.IpSla.Data.DAL.dll
  • SolarWinds.Orion.IpSla.BusinessLayer.dll

 

Resolution

Please note that even after the HotFix if you restart the VNQM service for any reason than the message will still appear.
