Set an alert when PRI trunk utilization exceeds the threshold

Overview

This article describes how to set an alert when PRI trunk utilization exceeds the threshold.

Environment

All VNQM versions

Steps

  1. In the Orion Web Console, click Alerts > Manage Alerts.
  2. Click Add New Alert.
  3. Enter the name and description of alert.
  4. Click Next
  5. In the I want to alert on dropdown menu, select VoIP PRI Trunk.
  6. Configure the appropriate trigger condition.

    For example, Avg Utilization.

  7. Set the required threshold.
  8. Configure Reset action.

    The default is Reset this alert when trigger condition is no longer true (Recommended).

  9. Configure the required Trigger actions.
  10. Select Add Action. 
  11. Customize the event name and message as required.
  12. Configure Reset Actions if required.
  13. Complete the wizard.
