A failed credential message is returned when adding an IPSLA operation in VNQM and the following error message is found in the IpSLAM Job logs:

ERROR BusinessLayer.Tasks.CredentialsCheckTask OnJobFinished - Credentials test job failed. [Type=Snmp,NodeID=16298,Message=System.ArgumentException: plug-in SolarWinds.Orion.IpSla.Jobs not found

VNQM 4.X and later

VNQM is unable to make an SNMP call to the node.

  1. If the node is passing SNMP from Edit Node and failing when adding an operation, verify if VNQM is installed on the polling engine that manages that node:
    1. Log in to the polling engine.

    2. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

    3. Find SolarWinds VoIP and Network Quality Manager. If you can find it, then VNQM is installed.

  2. If it is not found, download and install the polling engine installer file from the Customer Portal. See How to install an additional polling engine - Video.
