Manually created IP SLA Operation shows an incorrect source IP address


A manually created IP SLA operation shows an incorrect source IP address when viewing the Operation Details Resource on the IP SLA Operation Details view:

This is an issue on the device.


Perform any of the following:

  • Open a TAC case with Cisco (© 2018 Cisco, available at, obtained on January 28, 2016) to populate the rttMonEchoAdminSourceAddress OID with the IP address of the interface.
  • Specify the source IP address when creating the operation on the device, instead of specifying the source interface. For more information, see Add IP SLA operations to SolarWinds VNQM.
