Applying account limitations to reports in VoIP and Network Quality Manager for VNQM

Overview

Account limitations are not applied to predefined reports in VNQM.

To make your account limitations effective, add your preferred node property to each predefined report.

Environment

VNQM 4.2.4 and earlier

Steps

To add a node property to a predefined report, revise your Node Details:

  1. Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Alerting, Reporting, and Mapping > Report Writer.
  2. Select a report and click OK.

    The Report window is displayed.

  3. Navigate to the Select Fields tab.
  4. Click Browse (…) and select Add a new field.
  5. Click Field: * and select the appropriate node type from the dropdown list.
  6. Choose Node Details and select your preferred node details property. 

    For example, select VoIP Infrastructure > Node Details > Node ID.

  7. Click File > Save.
