Additional Polling Engine is not polling the SIP trunk statistics

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunk statistics are not being polled in an Additional Polling Engine (APE) running VNQM 4.5.


  • VNQM 4.5


  • The SIP trunk plug-ins are not properly installed in the APE
  • The VNQM 4.5 installation is not complete. 


  1. Log in to the Additional Polling Engine.
  2. Navigate to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SolarWinds\Collector\Plugins
  3. Ensure that the following SIP trunk plug-ins are installed in the directory:
    • IPSLA.CCM.SIPTrunk.plugin
    • IPSLA.CCM.SIPTrunkPerfMon.plugin
    • IPSLA.CCM.SIPTrunkStatus.plugin
  4. Perform a repair in VNQM 4.5 on the affected poller.
    1. Log in to another Additional Polling Engine.
    2. Go to Control Panel > Programs and features.
    3. Ensure that the following programs are installed:
      • SolarWinds VOIP
      • Network Quality Manager 4.5
    4. Right-click VNQM and select Repair.
    5. Run the Configuration Wizard, checking the database and services.
  5. Repeat step 4 on the remaining Additional Polling Engines.
