Overview

This article provides brief information on collecting performance data more than the minimum 5 minutes.

Detail

Virtualization Manager is a statistical tool. It collects all information in pools, but does not work like a monitoring tool due to the amount of data collected, and then analyzed.
It takes at least 1-5 minutes to collect all information from the vCenter and analyze them.

We cannot lower this timeframe as this would result in unfinished individual polling, which in turn will result in missed polls. The recommended poll interval for performance collection is 10 minutes.
