SolarWinds Virtualization Manager collects and monitors configuration and performance data, and tracks over 70 trends by default.

  1. Click Reporting > Business Views.
  2. Click the File:Success_Center/New_Articles/VMAN_Admin_MT/0C0/03000027.png icon.
  3. Select a trend from the list, and click OK.

By default, each trend runs a search every four hours and records the result. The result can be a count of the number of search results, or a value based on data within each search result.

To change the default four-hour interval, modify the Hourly Interval for Trend Execution property, as described in Configure system properties. Most trends are based on configuration data, so the interval should be the same as the configuration collection interval.
