Change CPU and memory resources

  1. In the Orion Web Console, go to the Details view of the virtual machine.
  2. In the Virtualization Manager Tools resource, click Change CPU/Memory Resources.
  3. Adjust the number of processors, the allocated memory, or both.
  4. Optionally, select the option to power off the VM and power it on again after changing the configuration.

    If this option is not selected, and the virtual machine is powered on, the resource management action is performed live.

  5. Click Save.

Hiding the progress bar while the action is performed does not affect the action, and the resource allocation is changed even when the progress bar is hidden.

The result of the management action is displayed in Home > Summary > Last 10 Audit events.
