View overloaded datastores

A high latency of read/write requests to the datastore indicates that the datastore is overloaded. Use the storage dashboard and alerts to view overloaded hosts.

You can also determine when datastores will be overloaded based on the current performance, and see which datastores experience the highest response time.

  1. Select one or more datastores on the search results page, and click Add to Chart.
  2. Select a device latency graph or line, and click OK.
