Updated September 30th, 2016

Overview

If the Orion server is no longer available but the integration to VMAN is still active, then a new Orion server will be integrated on the same VMAN appliance.

Environment

VMAN 6.X

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMAN appliance directly from the vsphere console or use a Putty tool.
  2. Log in as admin (using the admin password that you use to connect to the Vami site - (https://vmanserver:5480)
  3. Execute the following commands:
    • # psql -U h9pgsu hyper9db

      # DELETE FROM cfg_systemconfigs WHERE groupname='OrionIntegration';

      #\q

      #service tomcat restart

  1. After the service restarts and the web becomes available again you will be able to integrate VMAN with a new Orion Server.
