Environment

VMan v6.1.1

 

The following configuration change removes the VMan Console Timeout option:

  1. Log into the VMan command line interface as root.
  2. Navigate to /usr/share/tomcat/conf or cd /usr/share/tomcat/conf/.
  3. Backup the web.xml file using the command: 
    • sudo cp web.xml weborig.xml.
  4. Edit the web.xml file using the command: 
    • sudo vi web.xml.
  5. Under the Default Session Configuration, search for the string: <session-timeout>3</session-timeout>.
  6. Change the value from 3 to 0, and then save the changes by pressing :wq!.
