VMAN 8.3 Feature: vSAN monitoring

Overview

As of Virtualization Manager version 8.3, you can now monitor VMware vSAN performance with VMAN in the Orion Web Console.

Feature

Gain even further insight into your virtual environment by being able to correlate application performance with vSAN cluster and datastore resource utilization metrics like read/write IOPS and latency as well as other metrics over time.

When to use this feature?

Use this feature to add greater capability to your day-to-day monitoring visibility from VMAN, making it an even better all-in-one virtual monitoring solution.

If you're using vSAN in your virtual environment, vSAN monitoring gives you another tool to help troubleshoot application performance issues.
