Unable to validate VMware vCenter credentials

Issue

VMware vCenter 5.5 credentials cannot be validated.

Cause

This issue may occur if you use Windows Server 2003 as your SolarWinds server. Windows Server 2003 utilizes ciphers which are not supported by VMware vCenter 5.5.

Resolution

To add support for the cipher suites necessary for connecting to VMware vCenter 5.5, apply the following hotfix to your server:
