Determine which hosts are consuming sockets

Overview

This article describes how to determine socket counts per hosts.

Environment

All Virtualization Manager versions

Steps

 

  1. Login to the VMAN Web Console.
  2. At the top of the page, use the Find VMs resource to perform a search to list all hosts (search for *).
  3. Click Export Results.
  4. Add attributes:
    • host.name
    • host.processorSocketCount
    • host.connectionState
    • ost.powerstate
  5. Click Run Export.
  6. Save the generated Excel file and review.
