The configuration collection when run against hyper-v hosts can cause the host to BSOD and crash.

  • VMAN 6.X
  • Server 2012

There is a bug in Server 2012 when we request the data via the scsiInquiry command it causes the hyper-v hosts to BSOD.

Contact support and reference this KB to get the buddy drop that enables the ability to skip this part of the collection process. As a result it will no longer crash the Hyper-V Hosts.
