This article explains how grouping works for ports and how to limit and add ports to a group.

All UDT versions

Add ports to the group as members of the same group as your nodes or create a new group with just UDT Ports.

To do this:

1. Go to Settings, and then click Manage Group.

2. Click Add New Group, and then enter a Group Name. Click Next.
3. Click Available Objects, and then select Ports from Show Only drop down. The list below should be updated.
4. Select the target ports, and then click Add to Group.
5. Click Create Group.
6. Go to Device tracker summary, and then click Edit the Total Ports Currently Used resource.
7. Select the Group recently created, and then click Submit.
