Wrong MAC address reported for endpoint

Issue

The data returned for an endpoint has incorrect MAC address. Data is returned which means the Layer 2 job is running.

Solution

  1. Connect to the relevant network device and check the MAC address table.
  2. Verify that the MAC address for the endpoint is correct.
  3. Check the ARP table to verify that the MAC address for the endpoint is correct.
