Upgrading an Additional Polling Engine follows the same steps required to upgrade a primary SolarWinds UDT server. For more information, see Install SolarWinds User Device Tracker .

  • The most recent installer is available in your SolarWinds Customer Portal within the archive.
  • Confirm that you have upgraded your main Server before you upgrade your Additional Polling Engine.
  • If you are upgrading an Additional Polling Engine that is currently in service, the Additional Polling Engine will shutdown temporarily with the result that you may lose some polling data. SolarWinds recommends that you perform any Additional Polling Engine upgrades during off-peak hours.
