UDT settings pages do not render correctly on additional websites

Overview

For customers running the Orion platform with additional websites, some UDT-specific pages may not function correctly.  For example, going to Settings > UDT Settings > Advanced Settings from the Web console does not properly show the different default monitored port types, while visiting the same page from the primary polling engine does work correctly.

This image shows how the page renders from the additional website:

This image shows how the page renders from the primary poller in the same environment:

Environment

All UDT 3.2.x versions

Resolution

  1. On the primary polling engine, go to C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\MIBs.cfg
  2. Copy this file from the primary to all the additional websites to the same path on those servers.
Note: This step does not need to be done on additional pollers, just additional websites.
