Overview

This article addresses the following error found in the Web Console on the resource called UDT Ports in Use Overview:

There was an error rendering: UDT Ports in Use Overview

 

The following error is also found in the Orion web.log file (C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Logs\Orion\OrionWeb.log):

ERROR SolarWinds.Orion.Web.UI.BaseResourceControl - Exception while initializing resource
System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added.

Environment

All UDT versions

Cause 

This issue occurs in UDT when it encounters a duplicated group name.

Resolution

  1. On the Web Console, go to Settings > Manage Groups.
  2. Sort the groups by name.
  3. Locate the duplicated names and rename or delete.
