Remove a node from UDT

This article describes how to remove a node from UDT.


All UDT versions.


  1. In the Orion Web Console, go to Settings > All Settings > UDT Settings > Manage Ports.
  2. Select the following from the dropdown menus:
    • Show: Nodes
    • Filter to: UDT Monitored Nodes
  3. Select the node to remove and click Delete.
  4. In the Delete Nodes window, select whether you want to delete node and data only from UDT, or from all SolarWinds Orion platform modules, and click Delete.



The above steps work for any SNMP based node. A Windows or WMI based node will have the Delete button grayed out and will not allow you to delete it. In a future version this may be changed, but currently you will need to contact SolarWinds Support for additional assistance if you need to remove Windows-based nodes within UDT.
