Disk space runs out due to debug file tracelog.svclog

Updated March 11th, 2016

Overview

UDT has run out of disk space when the debug file tracelog.svclog is left turned on.

Environment

UDT 3.1

Cause

When debugging is left running, it continues to store log files to the C:\Temp directory which causes issues with disk space on the drive and eventually leads to not being able to delete files.

Resolution

  1. Turn off the debugging file. Refer to Stop the UDT log file.
  2. Delete sufficient amount of log files to free up disk space.
