IPAM details not available in UDT

Overview

When UDT and IPAM are integrated, UDT should display IPAM information. If the information is not available in IPAM, you will receive a message stating "IPAM Details not Available in UDT" 

When receiving this message, verify the following:

  • The endpoint is being monitored by UDT
  • The IP-MAC pair are directly connected to the device
  • The IP address is being managed by IPAM
  • Polling the subnet and device are successful
  • Verify there are proper permissions to view the device and subnet
  • MAC Address needs to be in IPAM & UDT

 

Resolution

Each of these checklist items could lead to a possible solution. A good place to start the your investigation is by looking into the UDT Endpoints: UDT endpoint information not populating after running through all troubleshooting steps.
