The default SRM Summary view shows a high level overview of devices in your storage environment that are approaching or exceeding set threshold values. The values within the widget change color to notify you of possible issues with your storage devices. The widget can show yellow for warning or red for critical depending what the threshold is set for. Clicking on a value within the widget will drill down to a chart delivering more granular information. When a value approaches or exceeds a set threshold value, this could be due to the following:

  • There is a problem with your storage device such as latency or insufficient resources
  • The threshold values are set too high and need adjusting

The default SRM Performance Dashboard shows performance related information about your storage environment such as IOPS, latency, and throughput. The widgets for the Performance Dashboard also change color to notify you of possible issues with your storage devices.

For more information on adjusting threshold values, see Set SRM threshold values.
