You can use the SRM Orion Web Console menus, dashboards, and views to monitor storage objects and customize views. You can move resources, rename views, delete or add resources, and create views as needed.

Move a resource within a view

If you want to reorganize the way resources are displayed on a view, you can drag and drop them to the preferred position. The new arrangement is automatically saved and displayed next time you open this view.

Customize a view

You can rename, add resources, and organize the layout of a view.

  1. Click Customize Page in the upper right of the view.
  2. Use the image and numbered key below to customize the view.

Select the Enable left navigation check box to split views that have a lot of content into multiple pages. Each page requires a unique tab name and icon.

Tabbed pages are used in SRM to separate resources for storage arrays that provide both file-information and block-information.

Click the + icon to open the Add Resource window. You can search and filter the available resources. Select resources, and click Add Selected Resources to add them to the column.

For a description of all the SRM-specific resources, see SRM resources.
