Fixed issues

This hotfix addresses the following issues:

  • SRM Active Alerts resource problem  
  • Disabling the server's topology pollers does not work (HF1) 
  • Alerting: the trigger action for volumes does not work properly (HF1)
  • IBM SVC - References query for LunMasking does not work
  • XtremIO logging improvement  
  • Implemented changes needed to support Dell PowerVault MD provider - alternate namespace
  • NetApp Filer - Default is job not completing due to quota report queries  
  • Implemented changes needed to support NetApp E-Series version 10.34 provider - alternate namespace
  • Array tooltip is broken when an array has many IPs  
  • For EMC VNX/Clariion, incorrect value is displayed for Consumed Capacity  
  • SMI-S method GetStatisticsCollection for large arrays 
  • VMAX - incorrect Manifest for CSV files (HF2)
  • Dell EqualLogic - failed disks are not reported (HF2)
  • Volumes/Luns by Performance not working on Custom View (HF2)
  • Capacity Risk - Incorrect forecasting numbers
  • IsilonFS - Unable to monitor Isilon OneFS 8.0.0.1

This hotfix must be installed on the main Orion server, all additional SRM polling servers, and any additional websites. Repeat the steps below for all your pollers and websites.

Installation instructions

  1. As administrator, log into the server hosting the SRM installation.
  2. Extract the hotfix archive, then run SolarWinds-SRM-v6.3-HF2.exe, following the instructions displayed on the installation wizard.
  3. Complete the configuration wizard.
    If the wizard does not launch automatically, start it from the SolarWinds Orion program folder (SolarWinds Orion > Configuration and Auto-Discovery > Configuration Wizard).

Uninstallation instructions

  1.  As administrator, log in to the server hosting the SRM installation.
  2. Navigate to Installed Updates(for example, via Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Installed Updates).
  3. Right-click Update for SolarWinds Orion Storage Resource Monitor 6.3 (HF2), select Uninstall, and complete the uninstallation.
  4. Complete the configuration wizard.

       If the wizard is not launched automatically, start it from the SolarWinds Orion program folder (SolarWinds Orion > Configuration and Auto-Discovery > Configuration Wizard).
