Showing different number of LUNs than Hitachi Storage Navigator

Table of contents

Updated March 13, 2017

Overview

SRM Orion shows different number of LUNs than Hitachi Storage Navigator for Hitachi VSPs.

Environment

  • SRM Orion 6.3
  • Hitachi HDS

Detail

SRM is hiding HDS LUNs that belong to any Thin Provisioning Pool. This is by design, SRM is showing only physical LUNs on HDS arrays.
