Filter reports on LUN properties other than LUN name

Overview

This article provides steps to create a custom chart or report with filtering on LUN masking information, such as Host Group or Host Mask (Alias).

Environment

All SRM versions

Steps

  1.  On the Orion Web Console, click Settings > Alerts & Reports > Manage Reports.
  2. Click Create New Report.
  3. If the Add Content window does not display, click Add Content under the Content resource.
  4. In the Add Content window, click Report, click either Custom Chart or Custom Table, and then click Select and Continue.
  5. Click Advanced Selector and select LUN from the menu.custom-LUN-chart-host-group.png
  6. Under LUN, click Select Field > LUN Masking. All the LUN-masking-related fields are listed.select-objects-you-are-going-to-report-on.png
  7. Select the field on which you want to filter, such as Host Group, and click Add Column.add-column.png
  8. Complete the Custom Chart or Custom Table details and create the chart or report.
