EMC Unity Arrays unreachable on SRM 6.6 or not provide performance data

Updated: 2/21/18

After upgrading to SRM 6.6 RC1, and adding EMC Unity arrays, these arrays are shown as unreachable - or if reachable, they do not show performance data.

  • SRM 6.6
  • EMC Unity Array

The array is shown as unreachable - or if it is reachable, the performance data is not displayed.

The error message:

The remote server returned an error: (422) Unprocessable Entity.

may be displayed.

Upgrade the firmware on the Unity array to 4.2 or newer.

SolarWinds SRM only supports EMC Unity with firmware version 4.2 and newer. Firmware 4.1.2 does not support block storage read and write latencies, so the performance job will fail.
