Select rules

Select from the available rules for your policy, and then push the policy to a group of devices. The rules are activated for those devices, and when the condition of the rule is met, a trap or script is triggered.

For the example threshold rule in the image below, if the VMware memory usage is >= 85% for 10 minutes, then an event trap is triggered.
